HOTEL CHARLEROI started in 2010 out of our own wish to live and work in Charleroi. In summer 2010 we rent a workman’s house behind the railway station and invited a few artist friends for informal residencies. The works that resulted from these stays were mostly connected with the industrial heritage of the city. The summer session ended with an open house event at the end of August.
